Wash less
Cutting down shampooing is the thing you should do when you go blonde. Going blonde means that your hair is tripped off natural oil, soaked into chemicals such as bleaching, coloring, etc. Therefore, it tends to be dry and easy to get damaged compared to no chemical treated hair. As a result it is recommended that you should shampoo your hair less following a coloring treatment so it the hair can regain its natural moisture. You can leave your hair for 2 days until the next washing day. If your hair is too oily and greasy, go for dry shampoo in between. On top of that, continued washing can fade your color, or bring on brass.
Choose the right shampoo
Of course you don’t want your hair to be faded quckly. That’s why you have to be wise to choose the proper shampoo to your blonde hair color. Keep in mind that the milder, the better. That opting for the organic, sulphate-free or color-treated shampoos will be the best treat to your hair that you can do. These kind of shampoos will be gentle on your hair and do less in stripping off natural oil on your scalp and it helps maintain the color for a longer period of time. Besides, be ready for the fact that your hair is going to be extra thirsty on a regular basis. As the result, never foget to condition your hair and once or twice a week, give it a deep conditioning to hydrate the hair strands better.
Use protection
After several times of bleaching and coloring to achieve the fabulous blonde hue, your hair seems to be exhausted. Therefore, besides taking care of it to recover its healthy condition, you should also pay attention to protect it against the enviroment, heat and pollution. Don’t forget to wear a hat or scarf when you get outside, especially in a sunny day. The sunlight can damage your hair even more without any protection. Likewise, reduce as much as heat on your blonde hair as possible. If you have to use these hair tools, be sure to lower the temps so you’re not frying off your hair in the process of making it wavy.
